Our Crews:
Kuru Contracting Ltd operates two road-line harvesting crews, one swing yarder crew & one pole tower crew. We take great pride in the work that we do and we ensure all operations are safe.
All operations are fully mechanised to avoid manual falling as much as possible. Our tethered CAT552FM, is used to stabilize and assist equipment operation on steep slopes. The cable system allows the machines to operate on slopes that would normally be considered unsafe for machines operation or damaging to soils. The use of tethered support enables enhanced machine stoutness on steep or adverse soil conditions, while also enhancing grip on more gentle grades.
Our harvesting operations have a dedicated roading crew, these talented and skillful individuals build landings, build and maintain forest roading and ensure the roads are well maintained and safe to travel.
